Make time for your next jewelry project at Sol Search Jewelry's private studio in Glendale, California. Our jewelry-making open studio offers workspace and metalsmithing tools for experienced makers and returning students to practice, finish a piece, or create their own designs.
Choose Your Studio Time
Select a 2-, 3-, or 4-hour session. Each reservation is per person and includes a workstation, approved tool access, and basic studio consumables.

Supplies & Materials
Standard use of fuel, flux, pickle, and basic finishing supplies is included. Bring your own metal, gemstones, chains, and findings, or contact us about materials available for purchase. Project materials are not included.
Equipment is shared; reservations provide individual workstation access. Contact us before booking if you need a specific tool or supply.
Experience & Support
Previous metalsmithing experience and the ability to work independently are required. Returning students can practice techniques learned in their workshops.
Your first visit includes a brief skills check and orientation within your booked time. Tool access requires safety approval based on your experience.
On-site supervision and occasional assistance with quick questions are included. For step-by-step guidance or new techniques, please book a workshop or private lesson.
Plan Your Visit
- Availability: By reservation, subject to availability.
- Ages: 18 and older.
- Attire: Closed-toe shoes, fitted sleeves, and long hair tied back. Avoid loose clothing.
- Cleanup: Allow the final 15 minutes to clean your workstation and return tools.
Booking Policy
Payment reserves your workstation. Rescheduling requires at least 48 hours' notice. Cancellations within 48 hours and missed sessions are nonrefundable. Late arrivals do not extend your booking.
