Soldering Class: Set of 3 RINGS
Learn to solder and create three beautiful sterling silver rings in this hands-on silversmithing class at our San Pedro location. You'll craft two stackable rings and one gemstone ring, learning essential techniques including measuring, cutting, soldering, filing, and stone setting. No experience necessary—all materials and tools provided. Leave with unique, personally handcrafted rings that showcase your creativity.
Class Highlights:

- Gemstone selection will be according to availability, with sizes ranging from 3mm to 5mm
- Receive one texture band, one rope band, and one plain band with a gemstone of your choice
- Bands and bezels are sterling silver
- Age: 13 & up
- Memo: Please wear closed-toe shoes
Please Note:
- The bezel cups used for this project are high-quality, pre-fabricated fine silver bezel cups.
- Bezel making will not be taught in this class, as it is not part of the curriculum.
- This class will focus on teaching students how to solder the pre-fabricated bezel cups to the wire rings made during the workshop.

Not only did we get to create & take away 3 beautiful rings, we were guided by Marissol, who is so well versed in metal-smithing & jewelry design that she can handle any question from a student & explains the "why" of everything including safety - all in an easy & friendly setting. Who knew all that it takes to make a ring - wow??!! It's lots of fun whether you attend by yourself or with a group to share delving into something new & fun!! Highly recommended!!
I’m currently taking a metalsmith course at a community college but I learned so much in this one session at Sol Search. Everything was hands on and guided at a great pace with lots of patience! My rings were so cute and all the jewelry for sale had such great detail as well! I recommend this for any level to walk away with your own rings :)
This class was so much fun. It went at a good pace. Marissol explained each step of the process very well. She didn't just teach us how to do something but why we're doing it. You get to leave at the end with three beautiful rings that you made yourself!
